One of the new tricks I had chance to try this trip was straddling the button in 3-way action. Normally, when you’re the button and it’s 3-handed, you go first before the flop. If you straddle, you will always go last. One of the tremendous advantages it gives you. (more…)

I’m back and I had a great time. Vegas is too expensive to be going out there as often as I’ll be heading to Tunica, but there’s no place like it. Yes, yes it is. I had forgotten about how absolutely packed this place gets with high-rolling Chinese and Tiawanese. I may not be making a regular trek to Vegas any more with Tunica making much more financial sense, but I need to make sure I at least consistently make it this time of year. (more…)
