I really wish local games would spread more limit. Both for selfish reasons as well as not-so-selfish reasons. The selfish reason is pretty simple, I think I’m a good limit player and probably better at it than others who are as good or better than me in NL here in the Atlanta area. The not-so-selfish reason is equally simple but is a bit obscure: bad players hold on to their money longer in limit. (more…)

Hey, I didn’t say it was going to be an easy step. The reality is that the players who are winning online work very hard to win online. The harder they work, generally the better they are. It’s been a little while since I posted a hand. I thought this one from a short-handed game (6-max) was interesting and debatable.

The button is a good player. Maybe plays a little too tight for short-handed but steals as much as any winning player. He seems to have picked up on me having a clue. (more…)
