If a “lottery” existed where you had a 1-in-1,000,000 chance of losing and losing meant you died, but winning meant you won $10,000,000, would you play? At what point are the odds low or high enough that you would consider playing or you would pass? Hold this thought, we’ll come back to it. (more…)

Las Vegas didn’t turn out so great regarding my bankroll so I need to find another spot to try to get out of this rutt. Tunica, here I come. I’ll be there from Sept. 21st to the 24th. Anyone else interested?

I’m back from Las Vegas. Had a great time as always and slept very little. I ended up down $200 for the trip after a nice rebound on Sunday. I played well and only caught myself doing silly things (like limping in late position with 74o in a limit game) occaisionally. (more…)

Las Vegas!

Yesterday I got in at 2pm to sunny Las Vegas after a plane flight that was pretty choppy on approach. I think scheduling a much earlier flight or later flight will give me a better chance at smooth travels. If I remember right, turbulance is caused in part by hot moisture rising off the ground.
